Psalm 32 takes us from forgiveness to joy.
Today as we pray we look to the promises of a Father who knows everything and sees everything. My encouragement today is that you would read Psalm 32, over and over. Let these supernatural words soak into your heart. Let the Holy Spirit speak to you as the Lord instructs and teaches you.
The Lord reminds us today that as we humbly ask for forgiveness we are forgiven. That by the blood of Jesus, the finished work of the Cross, we are forgiven and blessed.
Read the words of the Psalm and reflect on the power, beauty and majesty of the one that counsels us with His eye upon us. The one who forgives us when forgive others. The Lord knows where we are and what we are going through. He has hidden us so that He can preserve us – as we trust in the Lord He surrounds us with a steadfast love.
Forgive those who have abandoned you, hurt you, taken advantage of you, abused you. Ask the Holy Spirit to soften your heart. To show you all of those you need to forgive, and then forgive them. Set yourself free from all bitterness – when you forgive, you are forgiven. Be set free today.
Today as you are forgiven, as you forgive, as you thank the Lord for all He has done remember that we are called to be joyful. Today we are called to be glad in the Lord and rejoice and to SHOUT FOR JOY.
Shout for Joy today because Jesus is alive, He is with us, He is for us. In your joy remember to be loving, peaceful, patient, gentle, good and faithful – The Holy Spirit within the born-again believer will cause the overflow of His fruit – Today as you shout with JOY – overflow into your household, your family.
Bless you today in Jesus name.
Be glad in the Lord, and rejoice, ye righteous: and shout for joy, all ye that are upright in heart.Psalm 32:11
